Wings Flight Scenes
A quick wings opening boards I did for a friend of mine for his vfx shot.
This was a short film I produced with my friends for our short film class. We had 4 months to finish the film from start to finish. I had the lovely opportunity to be the Lead storyboard artist for the production. Other than storyboarding I was also in other departments along with my fellow teammates helping out. I was in the visual development, mainly responsible for color keys for the whole film after the storyboard was completed. I did character and effects animation for the film as well.Due to me and my team having plans to showcase our short film in animation showcases, i am not able to show the film or snippets as some showcases have rules to not have the final film be showcased publically, so here are some screen grabs and the color keys i did. :D
Originally this was also a part of an assignment. But this was my first try at storyboarding ever! I got really into storyboarding through this assignment and now want to pursue it for my career.The concept was we would be given a two sentence story and had to write the ending and do the whole board for it. I don't exactly remember was my sentence but was something along the lines of
“A hitch hiker takes a ride with a guy only to find out he is a serial killer. Through a rough chase and almost getting caught, the next morning when the police find the killer’s car, inside they find…..”I had to make my own interpretation of it and make the animatic!
